• PLOT SUMMARY: Waverider continues his search for Monarch. This time he goes into Wally West's future. He sees him as a family man in the Federal Witness Protection Program, he has been there since he got married. Unfortunately, the mob boss who they were hiding from has found Wally and his family. Wally's son has inherited his speed but not the force field that has always protected him from friction. The child saves the life of a little girl, but is badly burned, so Wally takes him to the hospital. There the mob boss kidnaps Wally's son.
