If there’s been one constant in the long and illustrious career of the Fantastic Four, it has been their ongoing conflict with the despotic ruler of Latveria, Dr. Victor Von Doom. Diamond Select presents this deluxe collector’s edition bookend set featuring the FF4 battling to save Sue Richards from the clutches of Dr. Doom. With Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm, and Reed Richards poised for action on the left bookend, and Doctor Doom and the captive Invisible Woman safe behind a stone wall on the right bookend, this set screams action on every level. The Human Torch is cast in clear resin, simulating his fiery powers; The Thing smashes at the wall that divides them from Doom; and Mr. Fantastic finds a way around the wall, stretching to rescue his wife. Mr. Fantastic "stretches" across the length of as many books as you place between these bookends, with his lower torso section on the left and his upper torso on the right. Doom glares in defiance at his attackers, as a shackled Invisible Woman (cast partially in clear resin) fades from view. This statue is OOP and was released in 2003.
